Stop and smell the roses in 2018

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
- Ferris Bueller

Hey friends, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
May this year give you the opportunity to follow your dreams, love like there's no tomorrow and smile unconditionally.

I love that 2017 ended on a Sunday and 2018 started on a Monday - very satisfying for my OCD tendencies.
So... New year, new month, new week, new goals!

Life can be so hectic, I often need to remind myself to stop and smell the roses.
I work a full-time job and it's been driving me nuts for months.
I'm constantly checking my work inbox, writing reports, and spend my days & nights mulling over work problems - or others.
I have become a bundle of nerves and am stressed out.
This needs to stop.

In 2018, I intend to stop and smell the roses.
I want to focus on what's enjoyable & nurturing in my life and step away from all the frustrating things.
I want to slow down and appreciate the little things - make more time for my family & close friends.
I want to close my eyes and breathe.

My mental health & wellbeing have become my top priority after years of neglect and struggle - and it is so vital.
And in order to better take care of myself and improve my mental health, I will accomplish a goal each week.
I plan on sharing my experience each Monday, and then challenge myself with a new goal for the week.

Let's stop and smell the roses ♥︎
